Drove the 2007 Yaris today!!!!

I Finally got to drive a 2007 yaris, today I drove the 2007 Yaris automatic liftback, and I loved it !!!!!! The little car is awesome, I love the engine sounds, I was worried about power, but it had more than enough for me, and it handles great!!!! I got the little car up to 80mp on I26 over in the Asheville,nc area and no problems loved the it,could have gone faster, but didn't wanna get a ticket in a test drive

I gave the salesman,my print out of the car I wanted and I'm getting a CE Sedan ,Nautical Blue with Char interior, with the power package or the convenience package. I'm still trying to decide which way, to go with that. He is going to call me Monday and give me the total price and hopefully order my new car

Congradulations!!! YotaYarisUSA! That's great! So you test drove the liftback but you're getting the sedan? I know they have similar suspension set ups and same powertrain, but I think they handle differently as the sedan is bigger than the hatch, but I'm guessing its not much different. I test drove a nautical blue sedan not long ago, it was alright, but it was the base model and the only one in (at the dealer I go to)...so far. Obviously its up to you, but personally if you can afford the power package, go for it!! Anyway can't wait to hear updates and post pictures when you get your car! Happy motoring!

Hi, ECHOKnight2000 I guess that does sound kinda crazy, that I drove the lift back but I'm getting the sedan huh? But, the truth is I love the looks of the sedan much better, the CE is pretty much the same as the S sedan, just doesn't have the side panel rockers and all that stuff. Once you add the powerkpackage to the Ce its the same as the S inside and its cheaper

Its,very hard to find a Yaris in my area, last weekend I got to look at a sedan, but I couldn't drive it because it was allready sold. So, I figure, that they will drive about the same,I know the steering will be a little different, but thats ok with me. They had a liftback at my dealership and I was like what the heck,I will drive this and if I like I will get one of these things, its the best budget car you can get for the bang at least in my eyes it is I know some people love the honda fit,and thats fine but I just thing the fit looks like a small van its just not an easy car on the eyes,to me but thats just me.

Thank you for the kinda words and have a happy day

I test drove both the liftback and the sedan. For some reason, the sedan was more sluggish on the highway than the liftback. I thought overall the liftback was more impressive. The sedan had more luxury features, but not enough to make me want it over the liftback.
