Canada Hello all, 5 Door on the way,

Hi all,

I am new to the site and Toyota.
I have ordered an '07 5 Door, package B, upgraded deck and armrest.
I am being told that we should be able to pick it up on the 29th.

The main reason for the car is as a commuter.
I drive across the 401 out west about 45K one way.
I currently have a '01 VW Golf 1.8T which is a great car but my wife is iching for the car for herself. It gets good milage but I'd like to get better which the Yaris should provide.

I am looking forward to it.

I have seen posts about mileage showing 500 - 650 Km per tank average which is an improvment since the tank is about 15L smaller than the VW.

Anyway, Just wanted to say hi and I look forward to sharing and learning about the car with you all.

Have a good night.

Hey! WELCOME!! I'm sure you will enjoy your ride very much, if you don't then you can give it to me . When you get your car, post pictures if possible! Can't wait to hear more from you and your car!

Thanks ECHO,

The only things I intend to do right away is tinting.
Other than that I am just going to drive.

I will be sure to post pics once I get it. I is possible that I may have to wait a few more day's. I have been told that 2 of the 3 that they are getting are already delayed.
but we'll see.

thanks.

Thanks stuts,

I got the auto so my wife can drive it when we switch cars and it got the bayou blue.
Since we started looking at these I have only see about 20 of them. Only one has been that blue. I would love to get that kind of mileage. That would be great.

I think it will look great with a nice tint job. My VW is tinted from a place in Mississauga who came recommended to me by 3 other tint shops. They did a great job and it wasn't that expensive. I will take it back there when i do it.
the other thing I have been thinking about is an alarm for it as it has nothing. I haven't looked at that stuff in years so I know what to get yet. I got spoiled with my VW as it comes with all those goodies standard.
I am looking forward to picking it up.
I will post some pics once I bring it home from the hospital.. hahahah

Have a good one.

Nice. Same here, buying tonite... only I opted to add in the temp/compass feature to the rearview mirror as well!

Mines stick ^5

I cant decide between Bayou blue or blazing blue! UGH! hahaha, i do think that as others said, the Bayou blue w/ a tint job done to the windows would be absolutely SICK! look phenomenal!

Id love to go for white, looks so stylish and see so few, but honestly, with rainy weather and winters... itll be perpetually dirty... so im gonna hafta pass for sure on the white.

I cant wait till it arrives

Jem

My 4 door golf was just under 260 with taxes.. and they did a great job, looks factory.

Jem_hadar: go for the bayou blue, I have only seen one so far and about 6 or 7 of the other blue.
