Yaris suspension?

How much does the Yaris suspension differ from the Echo? My knowledge is with VW's and the same aftermarket coilovers can used from MKI to MKIII cars. Would colilovers for an Echo work on a Yaris? I bought a new set of wheels for my Golf and tried them on the Yaris and they fit unbelievably well for the size they are. I'm considering ditching the VW and just doing up the Yaris if I can get it way lower. What are my options?
Here's the wheels. They are 16x9.5 ET 11 Wagner touring wheels made in England by Compomotive. Notice how the car sits way too high!

The echo coilovers will not work on the new Yaris platform, you'll just have to wait and see, but I doubt that you'll ever be able to get a vdub drop on a yaris... though there are some nice drops out there.. check out some of the echo forums...
