Walked into a dealership yesterday & bought a 2007 RS 5-DR in Bayou Blue. They said it'd be 2-4 weeks at most. They actually had the same model on the lot, but it was an AT which I didn't want. "Splurged" & bought the centre armrest.
BTW they were sold out of 2006 Yaris hatches. So no 3.9% financing for me ;( j/k
I was actually just doing test drives yesterday (Fit, Civic, Mazda3, Rio, Corolla) but somehow or other that Yaris got its treads on me & wouldn't let me go. First new car so I'm really, really excited! WHOOOOP!
Just personal preference, but after coming out of the Fit & into the Yaris in a matter of minutes there was really no comparison. Not that the Fit is a bad car, 'cause it isn't. For me at least the Yaris is a lot nicer driving experience. YMMV.
It came down to the Yaris RS 5-DR vs a Corolla CE with SE package (pretty much the same price). Right now my driving is 70/30 city/highway. If it was reversed then I probably would have bought the Corolla. Then again I love hatches so who knows?
