uuuuuummmmmmmmmmmm you got me than because if it was working with the same cds before than I dont know unless they are really scratched when you put MP3s on a cd they are very sensitive to scratches because its a lot more information on a cd than a normal cd with out MP3s

What kind or brand cd reciever you have? Do you still have the manual? Can you look up troubleshooting on line? I guess a last resort if you want to go to get it "fixed" if it needs it, go to an electronics store maybe the one you got it at (if applicable) and tell them the problem? So you were doing the exact same thing you did and now suddenly its telling you type 3 error? Hummmm, don't know but hope my suggestions help! Keep us udate and good luck!

So you have a stock cd player? I didn't think MP3's would play with a stock but maybe I don't know much...I thought you had to get a certain or have a certain reciever to play those. Good luck!
