well, 32000+km isn't as high as 200,000+km I had covered in my previous car which was the 93 Camry 4-banger.

I guess to know how many miles our little Yota will last, the only answer we can get is to do it ourselves, keep on driving to find out

Canada

I have a friend who bought a 2000 Echo new and she uses it for in town deliveries, she had the oil changed 3 times a year and when she traded it in on her 2005 Echo she had 425,000 km's on her car. The Auto tranny did die at 410,000km's but she never changed the tranny fluid in the whole 410,000km's. I wish I had a picture to show you because that was a very abused little car with not one striaght body panel on the poor little thing, but I don't but I will say that her little 2000 Echo is one of the reasons we bought the wife her 2005 Echo in Nov.

It's a Toyota, as long as you keep up the maintance it will last a long long time. My 99 Tacoma 4x4 has 160,000 miles on it, and it's just about all orginal drivetrain, including water pump, alternator, etc.. and I beat the heck out of it, real hard. (www.offroadingadventures.com) I've had to do the clutch 3 times, brakes twice, and timing belt once, but that's all normal wear/tear items. I should have broke the tranny or rear end by now, if it was another brand I'm sure the way I use it it wouldn't have lasted 60,000.
