The one dealer who did have a Yaris in stock, said it would take them approx. 6 weeks to get the car in. Does this sound about right??
i test drove a base 4 door, but I wanted one with all the power options, plus I still want to see a liftback in person before I make up my mind.
I am still trying to decide between the 3-dr. liftback or the S sedan. i am also wondering why some of you chose your liftback over the S sedan. I figured some feedback could help me choose which one I want to get.
Anyway, any feedback or advice you could give me would be greatly appreciated.

From the way things are going and what you want you probably would have to put a "special" order in and wait...most Yaris coming in are going to be equiped with the convience package, of course this varies from region or even state to state. I've read that some have been lucky to find a fully loaded in stock and they were fortunate to get it before someone else but that seems rare. I think people who didn't get the "S" sedan was a matter of money or just didn't need or want all the bells and whistles...when added up the Yaris (sedan) gets into Corolla territory so people might see that as a turn off depeneding how you want to view it as.
I can't speak for owners of Yaris (hatch or sedan) but if I were to get a Yaris I would go for the hatch-personally I like them better, don't get me wrong I think the sedan version looks sharp and unique-but I think the hatch has more of a spunky design and its a hatch which aren't as popular or frequent in the U.S. (although times are changing) cause majority of people have a sedan and so I guess to be "different" or stand out get a hatch but that depends on how you want to view it as...the hatch will have more cargo volume but I'm sure the sedan can accomedate just as much. Personally I find a hatch to be more practical as far as accessibility of stuff, it boils down to what you need and personal taste, generally speaking I see hatches/wagons to be more practical and if that's what you need and great gas mileage then the hatch is the choice...I'm sure there will be other people to give thier opinion, best of luck and keep us posted!
