Actually, I have been doing it now for about a year. When I first heard of it, I was getting 28 mpg., consistently on half and half freeway and around town driving. I have a 25 mile one way trip to work each day about 90% freeway with speeds at least 50 mph and more, since it is early in the morning. I get home and don't use my Echo since I have a second vehicle, but I do use it on the weekend for around town. Oh, and trip back from work is s-l-o-w since it tends to be a Southern California freeway crawl (10 fwy).
Those are my consistent driving habits. Now, after I put 3.5 ounces of Acetone in the tank, my mileage increased to 32-33 mpg., consistently. I can't explain it, but I use it in my Toyota Echo (2003) and my Toyota Tundra (2006). The Echo is still a low mileage vehicle, with less than 30K on it right now. So, yes, I use it consistently, with every fill up. Be careful of what container you put it into, try to avoid plastics as it will melt them. I use glass measuring cup to pour it in my tank after I fill up and have gotten home. Go ahead and try it, it works for me. Don't believe the BS about how it can damage your engine, etc. Come on, 3.5 ounces of Acetone in 11.5 gallons of gas, isn't going to harm anything.
