Opinion on a mystery noice in my Echo 1.5l.

I had it looked at for $95, and they said it was just a noicy water pump and needed belts, too. I got it back yesterday after it was done and heard the sound when I got home. Sounds like power steering, but isn't because there is absolutly no noise from turning the wheel, and no difference in feel. My worry is it's a bearing, but it'd have dug into the crank by now if it were.
