AE101 about to make way for '07 Yaris, few questions.

Ok, having been in the Toyota crowd for quite some time, I have already picked up on the cross platforming. The Echo/Yaris/xA/xB all share the same engine and chassis, if I am not mistaken, so my question is, how compatible are the parts across the different cars? The Yaris is much to new here to have anyone making specific parts for them, however there are a decent amount of parts for xA/xB such as coilovers, strut braces, headers, supercharger kits, etc. Does anyone know for sure if most, if not all these parts will interchange? I'm 99% on the engine stuff, I am more worried about suspension at this point.

From what I've read and to my knowledge some aftermarket parts will work for your 2007 Yaris, they are interchangeable from the xA/xB offerings, but can't give specifics as I'm not into this...but remember the current Yaris is a competely new platform from the xA/xB ECHO etc. They are previous gen platforms. Hope that helps and gives some idea. If not sorry

Man am I counfused. At first I was reading that they were the same platform with a new body slapped on top. Hmm... its disappointing I'll say that. I was hoping to grab a nice set of coilovers, since I've heard the Yaris already handles pretty nice. Certainly won't change my mind on the car, just gonna have to wait for aftermarket parts.

Suspensions are similar, but not identical. Coilovers would need to be Yaris specific. As far as engine mods go, though the engine is the same, the packaging is different, so once again most mods will need to be Yaris specific - it has a much smaller engine bay than the Scions...
