Also, my dome light doesn't turn on when I open the driver side door. A mechanic told me I needed a new "courtesy switch". I would be grateful if someone could tell me where I could buy these parts. My driver door handle came off and if u turn the door handle over u can see where the grooves completey worn down. I have 2000 Toyota Echo! HTH

The faulty dome lights may be due to a fuse problem. ALso try replacing the bulbs.
