angry.

So i saved up for the last 2-3 month every extra penny I've made to buy myself a nice WING spoiler for my 2007 yaris sedan.
Asked if it was possible for this to be purchased before i started my saving.. and was told by the Parts manager it was.
But when i actually went to make the appointment was told you cannot "Add" a wing spoiler to a yaris in Canada .. only USA.
i was P'ed.
He also said that no aftermarket places haven't designed a spoiler (they would accept ) for a yaris because its a brand spankin' new car..
and will most likely have to wait 6 months - year.

URRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRG!
i just needed to vent somewhere.
Thanks,

I don't understand why not I seen a few of them with a spoiler, the one I almost bought was sitting beside one with all the ground effects and had the rear spoiler on the trunck lid.

You may also try Ebay.

i know! [ 05 echo ]
I called them and asked them "what happens if a aero package gets in an accident and ONLY the spoiler is damaged" and he didn't know what to say, I feel this is just an overlooked glitch and if i make enough noise they will revise it sooner then later.
I've also emailed toyota Canada about my dissapointment. And mentioned that honda fit has SEVERAL sport packages ( small and large ) made available for their BRAND NEW fit ( this is the excuse they're using on me.. that its a new vehicle so they dont have all the bells available yet ) I think that will get them moving a little faster.

Check online for a place called Champion Toyota. They are a Texas Toyota dealer that recognized the parts availability problem and do mail order parts, and if the spoiler is available in the states they can get it for you. I can often get rare or otherwise unavailable in Canada parts for the supra shipped and duty paid for less than I can purchasing at dealers here...

Don't feel too bad about waiting a few weeks...Someone I know had an accident last year with their brand new Kia sportage. It took 9 months to get a bumper skin in, and the dealer finally had to drive across the border to a dealer in Niagara falls to pickup one of the 10 they had in stock...Her insurance company finally had enough of paying for the rentals...
