Engine bay question
There's a piece of very flimsy piece of plastic, about 8 inches by 14 inches just to the left of the radiator in my 05 echo. I was thinking if I removed it, it may increase air circulation around the engine, keeping it cooler, although overheating has never been a problem. I called the dealer about it and the service tech really didn't know much about it but agreed that removing it would prolly help with air flow. I'm just wondering if that may cause "short cycling" on the radiator fan. I pulled it off and it's been a week now with no apparent problems. Any thoughts on this?
