Eventhough you also have a Vitz it may only apply to the ones for Japan...but if it does effect yours you should get a letter from Toyota, since its a recall they should or will cover the repair or whatever it takes to get the problem fixed. I have a ECHO which is the JDM Platz equivelent but I believe its for the ones in Japan only. Has your tranny had any problems? if not you should be fine. If you're still not sure contact your local Toyota dealer for details or any concerns you have. Just some ideas!

Well,
I got my Vitz which is 2006 Reconditioned, I am located in Pakistan. And I am sure I am not going to receive any letter from toyota.

Is there any list of VINs which was recalled ? or any support telephone number of toyota (English one) ?

Thanks,
Fahad

Have you visited the Japanese site? Of course maybe you'll have to learn Japanese. You can visit the site Toyota has for Pakistan or that area and they should have contact info on there...just a suggestion but I'm not sure! Good luck!
