Dumb Newbie...Sorta

Hi there! I kinda got suckered into this. My son just bought a 92 4 dr Tercel and his buddy has a 91 2 door. I suspect I get to be the 'advisor'. I imagine they'll show up at some time talking trash, hehe.

They are not too serious about this and realize they don't have 20k supercars ( but the insurance payments fit ).

My son's car needs an ebrake and a rack or box (p/s leak) for the safety check and could use a front bumper cover.

Any hints as to cheap swaps to upgrade appearances a bit? Things like larger rims (pattern?) and other items that bolt on like they should be there.

Thanks

there's not much out there for tercels... as for rims.. you have a 4x100 bolt pattern and 40 mm offset should be fine to avoid the rubbing... or you can roll your fenders to help you clear it...

you can pretty much put any brand of rims.. as long as you have the right bolt pattern..

i use 195/15/50 with 40 mm offset.. i don't have any problem with it... never had to roll my fenders..
