Car seat covers (esp rear)

Just wondering. Have poeple bothered with car seat covers? Have you got them on the rear - if so did you get them custom made?
I frequently have people in the back of my car (ie 3 or more passengers, nothing kinky ) and was wondering if anyone has got custom made rear car seat covers. I was quoted AUD$250 i think, for the rear, which im considering, as this will be custom for the 60:40 split.

What is everyone else doing?

Thanks

For me personally I have just front seat covers, and they just do fine for me, but what ever suits your needs or wants. Since you have passengers I guess it wouldn't hurt to have covers but then again maybe you don't want to go too nice cause then you would be paranoid about some one spilling something or the covers getting ripped but I'm sure it will be fine. I guess its just a personal taste or style, some people like them, some don't. If you feel you want to decorate or spice up the interior, more power to you! I know here in the U.S. you can get rear seat covers but I'm not sure if they'll fit any car, I'm sure you'll have to go custom, like you mentioned. Good luck!

Australia

Hi there, while I can't help you with any advise. I am also interested in cars seat covers, though more so for the front seats. Not only to protect the interior, but also to liven up the inside.

Does anyone know of Toyota offering car seat covers specifically for the Yaris?

Who makes customs seat covers in Australia?

I must say I think Honda offers a boarder and more appealing range of accessories for their Honda Jazz, than Toyota does for the Yaris.

Good luck with getting your seat covers!

Just an update...

Just thought i had better update. I got the car on Friday, and i love it.
Got the front seat covers, with the area for the airbags and all that. Cant remember the brand - Montana by seat cover world i think.
In SA there is a car place called motoquipe... might be in other states, not sure. I ordered the back customs from there. Total cost for express is AUD$156.00 which i was extremely pleased with. The dude came out and looked at the seats, and drew a diagram to ensure it all comes right. Should have sections for the buttons to adjust the back seat, the seatbelt holes, and all that kinda stuff. Will let you guys know how it turns out. Oh, its also in the Montana material, which is like a, um, suede i think. If anyone is interest i think the relevant website is carseatcoverworld.com or something like that, prob be easy to find out google. Thanks for the advice and all guys, ill let you know how they turn out.
Oh, and the yaris ROCKS!
