I have ABS?!?

When I got my Yaris in May, I couldn't order one and have it quickly so I waited around and ended up getting almost what I wanted a couple of weeks later. I got the S Sedan. The only thing it didn't have on it was ABS brakes. But, I wasn't too worried. I had a tiny car years ago with no ABS and I had no problems with it. But a week or so ago, I was driving down the road and the guy in front of me slammed on his brakes, meaning I had to do the same. My brakes pulsed, just like my truck used to (my truck had ABS). So, curious, I took my car to a gravel parkin lot nearby and got some speed up, STOMPED on the brakes......I didn't skid. It was a serious WTF?!? I have a fuse in the spot for ABS. It wasn't on the sticker. I have ABS. What a nice surprise.

Has anyone else had this happen to them???

Today, my ABS paid for itself. I don't want to get into details since I was being an idiot (I'm going to have to clean house on my driving habits), but its the closest I've been to an accident in years. All I can say is, after today experience, the ABS system in the Yaris is no bull shit. (unlike the ABS system on my wifes 2000 Civic Sedan, which is a joke).
