Maintenance light resetting

Hi, does anyone know how to reset the maitenance indicator light on the dashboard? I tried holding the trip meter button down, but that doesn't work. Thanks, in adavance.

that's how you do it, but it has to be in the correct manner. start by making sure the odometer is on odo (total miles) not trip a or trip b. now, with the car off, push and hold that button down. while holding the button, turn the key to the "on" position. watch the odometer, it will turn into a series of bars that will disappear until it zeros out. that's it.

i wa looking for the answer on this question and tryed on my Yaris 07 sedan. The main light was resetted if the odo is in trip a.

you have to put it on trip a then hold the odo button put key on ON and hold it until you see the zeroes and it is resetted.

USA Needs to be in Trip A

Same here - doesn't work in ODO; only works in Trip A. Not like every other Toyota I've ever dealt with.
