07 Yaris Hatchback Question? what size are the stock wheels and offset?

07 Yaris hatchback RS Question? What is the stock offset and what is the width of the stock rims 15 x 5, 5.5 6, 6.5?

I have a deal going where I'm about to purchase Tom's wheels size is 15 x 7 +45 offset.

Wondering if they will fit without a problem on the car.

Thanks for your help in advance guys!
btw mine is a RS model....

^maybe they dont know the answer? ^_^

+45 should be fine

the RS is the highest model, right? if so, 15 x 5.5-6.0 sounds about right

Wish I could help. The echo will mount a 6 with not too many issues depending on the tire size, but an echo isn't a yaris.

here is your answer:

15x7 is a bit wide / and 45 is a pretty high offset / depending on the size of the tire, you won't be able to achieve full lock and you will certainly rub over bumps.

As you may not know, the higher the offset - the higher the back side of the wheel is from the hub face (effectively tucking the wheel further into the wheel well) although this is normally a good thing, in this case it will come down to the size of tire you use, simply because 15x7 is a bit wide. Too big will rub at inner spots of the wheel wells and potentially rub on the fenders (especially the rear). I wouldn't go wider than 205 or taller than 50 (technically speaking 205/50/15 is the equivalent rolling diameter to the stock size)

Lowering will exaggerate this problem, so do not expect to also have an aggressive drop.

Mine is lowered approx 2 inches and I run a 15x6.5 42mm with 195/50/15s and even my car rubs in certain corners with full load.

BTW on a side note, my lowly Echo went on to do very well in shows through 2005 and even won the Rolla/Camry/Solara/Echo class at NOPI NY 2006

Have a great day

with convenience package, the stock wheel size is 15x5.5 i believe. the tires are 185/60/15.

Hopefully the 07 Yaris is not as picky with the wheel's offset as the older Echo. But considering that the tinny stock wheels are already near to the very edge of the wheel well, there's probably not much room to play with, for s wider setup. I was considering going with 7' rims, but after reading this post, I think I'll keep it down to 6.5' width on 15' rims and 195/55/15 tires. In which case, would the better offset be, 40mm or 42mm? (for a 07 Yaris).
