I'm having the same problem but I think the problem is do to the wiper blade. I'm waiting for the weather to get get a little warmer and drop $60 for a set for reflex blade (don't want to wreck the expensive blade from all the icing).

Hopefully, that'll solve the problem. I've already got 40,000km on the original blade, so they're do for a replacement.

Do they make the reflex wiper blade small enough for the pasenger side? I remember looking for a better wiper for my echo and could only get the standard crap because its like a 13" blade

toyota has a tsb for the washer nossles. I when to get it fixed but it work great in the city now but the highway is still bad. may have to get those metal hook to clam down the wiper. Also there still no reflex wiper for 14". so i've been thinking of getting a 16" and cut it to 14 but just have to find glue to hold it together and withstand the elements.

Yep. Just found out yesterday that there isn't any reflex 13' wiper blade.

The driver side blade is still working fine, but, it's the little 13' passenger blade that's causing the streaking. I'll just have to get it replaced at Toyota and hope that Reflex eventually releases a 13' blade. I'm amazed that the driver side blades managed to survive the winter and 42,000km.

Car's holding up well, no problems, I've just been doing oil changes at every 8000km, but I'm well over-do for my next one (it's coming up on 10,000km).

The driver side interior is quite bad after the constant snow/salt for the past month (Feburary seem to have made-up for January), hopefully I'll be able to clean up all the salt/grime off the carpet.

The stock tires, which are past 50%, did a great job handling the winter. It saved me some money, since I wasn't forced into winters. Now, I can totally burn-out the stock tires (hopefully they'll last the summer) and then dedicate the rims for winter use. Which means, I'll need summer wheels. I wonder if I can get a deal on the 15' steel rims sold in the States? Dishing out for a nice set of alloys might be a little too pricy. Well, if the stock tires hold up for another summer, then getting summer tires will be next year's problem.

Nope, decided to skip on the synthetic oil. I would have, if I could extend the oil change intervals, but there isn't any good oil filter out there that can handle the high mileage. They might be good for race-track conditions but they still need to be changed out at around 10,000km.

Gas mileage isn't anything to brag about, but still surprisingly good considering the aggressive city/hwy driving. I'm getting about 33mpg (us) or 7L/100km. In the summer, it should get better by a few mpg.
