My new Yaris (pics)

Picked this up for my wife Monday. So far we love it. It's more fun to drive than my Tacoma (the one in back). I'm Joe BTW. I'm new to the Yaris forum. Enjoy!

That's how we bought it from the factory.

Joe, I hate you ..... joking

Welcome aboard!! Your Yaris looks sick!! If I get a Yaris I'll get one exactly like yours, perhaps drop the ride height an inch or two. Taco looks great too!!

Too bad the Yaris won't fit on the Taco's bed

Thanks bro! Yeah I tried to convince the wife to let me drop it about 1.5 on Tiens but she won't have it. LOL! It feels small enough to fit in back a my Taco.

The rear blackout tint and the black rims look cool. What size are they? I wonder how fat they'd looks from the rear (any photos?).

I have a black 5dr and I doubt the two-tone tint job would look good on mine when factoring the extra set of doors.

All it needs now is about a 1inch drop....

Here in Toronto, you can go with medium or light tint all around (except front), but the dark tint can only go in the back. My old Civic Hatch had the black-out tints in the back and light ones up front and I was constantly got suspicious stares from the police, but never pulled over from it.

I prefer to be seen in my Yaris, but once it gets a little older, I might give it a light tint to help give the AC a break. The cool/bad look works on the 2dr model, but I don't know if it's the right direction for the 5dr. With the 5dr, I think spending some $$$ on the interior would probably be a good place to start (assuming the wheels are already done).

205 is the biggest I'd put on the Yaris (I hate it when the tires start to fight with the steering). However, If your 7inch wide rims on 205 tires look extra fat, then perhaps 195 on 6.5 inch rims might not be a bad compromise. As it, the rear view of the Yaris is pathetic and needs all the help it can get.

Ask the original poster if he will sell his wheels as his wife got into an accident and the car is a write off from what I heard.

So maybe the wheels are still good and you both live in Cali!
