chipped paint

My Yaris is less than a year old and I noticed the other day she ahs chipped paint It's not really bad,you can hardly see it,but its there, I found it when I was waxing the the car the other day. My question is will Toyota fix the paint? will they repaint the car for free? Or maybe they can use something else to fix it?. If they want fix it its not a big deal, has anyone else had paint problems? The car still looks good, but if they will fix it for free I might as well get it done while I can.

THanks 4 your time

Sorry to hear about it. No I don't think Toyota will fix it, especially for free. Go to a body shop but even if its that small its not worth it and the body shop might tell you that as well. If they are small nicks you can buy spot paint from the dealer. Make sure you have the right color code and obviously color. I believe you look at the last part of the VIN number and tell them and they will find the appropriate color code for you. If you're not sure just ask. That's what I did for nicks on my car. Unfortunately they don't make rock resistant cars...yet. So we all have to deal with the forces of nature that hit our babies. If you want to spend some $$$$ get a 3M protective clear bra. You can kind of tell its there but it invisisble for the most part. I don't have one but I heard they help, obviously they can't deflect bolders

Good luck!
