I just bought the '05 Echo LE and I couldn't justify paying out the extra $$ for the exhaust, "cold" air intake, or seats. Do your research and you can put those mods on your car for less than half what Toyota dealers will charge you - if you have the time. Check out eBay for starters..

My wife has a 2 door CE and I have the RS. The seats alone in the RS are worth the upgrade, much more supportive (kind of like the difference between the old Swift and Swift GT). The interior looks way better with the chrome, black inserts and leather trim wheel and boot. The skirts and spoiler round out the exterior. I have already lowered it, put custom exhaust, AEM intake. I have been looking at upgrading the wheels ( up one inch to 15, either heliums or stock yaris t-sport ones) but at least with the car lowered, it looks decent and handles better. Because the stock alloys look alright, I will probably spend the $1000 I would spend on wheels getting a rear whiteline sway bar ($189)and TRD front tower brace ($350) and get stickier rubber...

Getting to my point, at least with the RS I have been able to spend my mod money on actual mods, and forget about the more cosmetic stuff, because the car already has them...

Cheers
