I just bought a 2007 Yaris brand new. I love it so far. Question: has anyone switched to full synthetic oil on their Yaris? It is more expensive, but I am thinking of doing it.

Yes, I switched to Mobil 1 at about 3500 km. I'm at 45000 now.

It's really up to you. If you're thinking of keeping your Yaris long term, using synthetic might not be a bad idea. Even regular dinosaur-juice is good enough these days.

I've been using Mobil1 since the first oil change on my 08 sedan,change every 8000kms,Synthetic may cost more but its a superior product,if you want to be impressed put a quart of Dino and a quart of synthetic in your trunk,when its -20 degrees at some point during the upcoming winter shake the two containers and tell me which one you want in your car on startup.
