Hazards fault
I've got a 2003 Yaris Spirit. Has anybody had a problem with their hazard lights where they flicker sometimes for no reason, without the hazard switch being on? Generally it happens for only a couple of seconds, but last night they flickered for some while and then started flashing properly without the switch being on and kept flashing after I got home switched the engine off. Nothing I could would stop them flashing, but they did stop eventually after I switched the lights on and off but this might have been a coincidence. I had a towbar fitted 3 weeks ago, so I took the car back to the installer and we went through everything and came to the conclusion it was either a faulty hazard switch or flasher unit. Any ideas? If it is the flasher unit how do I get it out and where can I get a new one? I've scoured the internet but can't find a Yaris indicator relay anywhere. Thanks.
