Flat spot on acceleration

Hi all,

My 2005 Echo HB has 120 000 kms and I get a flat spot around 2500 rpm from time to time...

I just changed my plugs and the old ones were all normal. I know that I'll need a new clutch soon. Do you think it could be transmission related?

Any ideas?

Thanks!

is the clutch slipping, if not suspect a fuel problem.

I don't know for sure... the pedal is pretty high and has been since I got it about 10 000 kms ago. I've gotten used to the clutch but at first I found the grabbing point very vague so I had to give more gas to feather it out. I asked the dealer and they say the clutch is worn but I might get another 20 000 kms out of it. I think less since I drive mainly in the city.

All that to say... I think it might be slipping a little? ? ?

Do you get that flat-spot when you're just revving the engine in neutral?
