Hey just wondering as to why you need to adjust the parking brake so soon on your car?

And to answer your question no I personlly have not done it.

My Yaris/Vitz has around 25,000 km and I have no problems with my parking brake at and I use it every do cause mine is a manual trans.

If you look down at the parking brake lever from above there should be a tightning bolt to adjust the position of the lever. Never done this on Yaris, but have on other cars.

I would think this would just need to be tightened.

I have also noticed my parking brake not great, but never a problem to leave for when the car gets serviced. This is done every 15 000km here in South Africa, would assume your service interval is similar. If so suggest you leave for the service.
