2003 Echo

Hi i am about to service a friends 2003 Echo for the first time. Can anyone tell me anything i may need to know before i start. I am changing oil filter and doing fluid top ups. i did see something about about an oil light needing resetting on one forum. is this right or can i just drop the oil and change the filter change the plugs and top up the fluids. without encountering any probs.
regards

Echo just takes what is recommended, It is easy to work on. Antifreeze should be some pink color stuff that is supposed to be good for 15 years or something like that, top off if needed.
