Don't think they wish to encourage or in any way support an illegal activity especially if it might result in the loss of life or liberty for one of our members or another human being.

Frankly, I dunno, but I'm sure it has something to do with TN's unwritten moral/ethical policies.

It's tough for sponsors and other organizations to take a group seriously that permits or promotes illegal activities. It also can draw undue attention from media and law enforcement organizations if such activities are condoned or permitted. Last thing I want personally is to be profiled as a racer because of the car I drive or the clubs I belong to.

There's nothing unwritten. We are uniformly against street racing in all of it's forms, and as such it extends to being a topic of conversation that is off limits. Want to talk about what happened at a real track though, and we're all ears.
