2008 yaris clinging noise from park then accelerating?

Are u guys had any problem w/ it? cause i just got one about 6 days ago and i dont know if its a problem or normal, when i turn on the engine ang going to accelerate i hear one cling noise underneath but its realy a faint noise that cant hear it if thers alot of noise around. is it normal? u guys have those kind of noise ? it sounds like a metal spring snap

The yaris is kind of known for a strange noise but it might be different....Check this out....Yaris whine

I hope this helps, but eiuther way I'd take it back to the dealer and at least make them give you an explanation and get in writing whatever they say

Some dealers can be pretty shady

others rock

just be sure you have a record of it, a new car is a big purchase.

Theres a TSB on the Transmission cable rattling at idle when placed into reverse. The dealer can install a "clip" to correct this problem. Got an 07 yaris had this same problem.
