Unhappy 2005 Echo - Bumper

I had an unfortunate run in with the car infront of me earlier today, and cracked my 'plastic' bumper which will eventually need replacing. I'm researching them and having no luck. Below is a picture of bumpers that are similar to mine (I have a Red/Cherry coloured Echo).

Does anyone know if these are expensive to replace?

Thanks!

I had to replace the bumper cover on the back of my '05 Echo hatch. Other driver's insurance paid for it, I think it was about $700.

Yours is unpainted though, so it should be cheaper. Ask the dealer.

^^^Like what he said. Its not cheap. If its just a crack maybe wait till you can afford it. My rear bumper the part near the rear tire is a little messed up but not worth about 600 bucks. My deductable is 500 dollars so really I would be paying most of it out of pocket. Its up to you. You can go through a body shop and they will order the bumper through the dealer. If its unpainted then that saves you probably 200 dollars or so. Good luck!

Its the rear sure... but I priced a rear bumper cover for echo hatch and it was under $200 cdn.. (unpainted)

They can also repair cracks in them, though I did the math and in my case may as well just get them to paint a new one and install it as opposed to doing the repair work on the old one.
