^^^ I guess you can mark out the total area allowed in the rear area (using some measuring tape, cardboard cut-outs, etc) to make a template. Then perhaps you could buy a large sheet of plywood, outline the template on the plywood to be cut out, and there you can lay that plywood which can snuggly fit into the rear area for storage. You might need to make a wooden (or metal) frame or so underneath the plywood if you want some compartments, and you might need a frame structure to sit where your rear seats once were, to support that plywood.
This really depends on how handy you are (on woodwork, metalwork, drafting, etc). If you have resources and tools available, and if have some fabrication know-hows and the will to do it, nothing's impossible
PS: Are there any screw-holes (which the rear seats use to secure to the rear floor) as mounting points for the said "structure"? It'd be wise to use and integrate what were already available
