Question Echo Hatch - Yaris - Scion Xa Compatibility Guide?

Hey folks!

Finding brand-name aftermarket tuning parts for a 2005 Echo RS hatchback is kindof a bitch.

As you know, that model wasn't released in the US, so it's difficult to find mainstream sites that sell parts that'll fit that model.

That being said, the Yaris and Scion xA are both very popular in the US, so it's quite easy to find parts for them. And the Echo sedan was available in the US, so parts are easy to come by.

Is there a compatibility guide that explains which Yaris, Scion and Echo sedan parts will fit into an Echo hatchback (and vice versa)?

If anyone has any links, guides or advice, please post them!

Thanks!

a lot of yaris parts CAN NOT be used on the echo......different chassis, suspension, etc

yaris is drive-by-wire and the echo has a throttle cable

most xa and xb parts WILL fit on the echo, but the xB springs will have a higher spring rate than the xa or echo

Some parts from the xa, xb, yaris, and echo can be interchanged depending on the product. If your talking about bolt ons such as pullies, intake, and things like these you can buy them for any of the 1NZFE engines and they should fit on yours. If your talking about internals thats a differnet story. If you are looking for specific parts let me know and I can let you know of some companies that make them. The best way to find parts for the echo is to contact the performance companies and ask them what will fit on the echo hatch. Most companies will work with you and help out.
