2000 Echo needs a Tranny Drain and fill? iNSTRUCTIONS?

How many quarts do I need? do I need to remove the trans pan to flush the fluid or is there a drain plug??? thanx

Automatic:

If you want to do a simple drain - refill, all you'll need is a 10mm hex socket, a funnel, and about 3 quarts of the correct ATF fluid. If you want to take out the pan, you'll need a 10mm socket and a gasket. New ATF fluid is added through the dipstick tube with the funnel.
