required maintaince

the Required maintainence light just popped on in my yaris I checked the manual but it doesn't give me any info on what the problem could be. can anyone help?

Are you around 5k miles? Probably time for an oil change.

You can turn it off by reseting it.

1) Put the key into the ignition but leave it in the off position.
2) Push and hold the trip/odometer button.
3) Turn the key to the on position and continue to hold the trip/odometer button until the maint. req. light flashes (or disappears, don't remember)

and that should be it. Just make sure you're up-to-date on maintenance according to your users manual.
