I'm thinking of getting into camping and i was wondering what my 08 Yaris sedan would be capable of towing,Would a 700 to 900lb teardrop camper be too much?http://www.kerola.com/LittleGuy.htm

What does the owners manual state? There were a few posts stating towing with US cars was not recommended but up to 700 lbs was OK for Canada cars.

There are hitches for the car rated up to 2000 lbs.

Try the Yarisworld website. Owners state they have towed 800-1000 lbs OK.

If an automatic trans install an oil cooler, if the car already has one install a secondary.

Look in the owners manual. I don't have mine with me, but I remember there's a whole section on trailer towing in there.
