13 inch for winter?

Hi all,

What is your opinion of putting on 13 inch steelies on my Echo for the winter? I could get 175 70/13 or even 155 80/13 winter tires...

Thanks.

Steelies

Sure sounds good to me! Try Hankook I pike Winter tires they are a directional snow tire, they are by far the best I have found. I get four so I can rotate them, I run them all year and get 40-50K on them every year. If you get stuck with these tires you should have taken a snowmobile!

Do it. they'll work great and they're cheaper. Just get the right size.

I totally agree with the 409's!
Best winter tire I've ever owned, like driving with 4 wheel drive.
Last year I made quite a few trips driving friends to work, when they couldn't even get out of their driveway.
Car pulls right through deep snow and ice, great tires.
