Should I pay to have a service or just do ti myself?

Should I pay to have a service on my car or I should do it myself? And when will I need a tune up? Im on 89000KM.

Things that a service will do that was told by my friend.
Oil
Spark plugs
Oil filter
Transmission fluid
Check breakes
Coolant every 1 - 2years
I got no powerstering so i don need to change powerstering fluid.

If I didn't miss anything then I should be do service on my own. Can save a few hundred on other parts.

If you can do the work than do the service, none of those things are hard to do on an Echo.
