Smile I need help finding wheels for my 08 Yaris sedn

Hello, I'm totally clueless when it comes to figuring out what size/type wheels etc I can safely put on my car. I'm about to inherit my wife's 2008 Barcelona red Yaris sedan. It's got stock steel wheels on right now (we bought the base model). I really like the way these wheels look: http://www.toyotanation.com/photos/s...o/9467/cat/842

Could anyone recommend what to buy and where I should buy to achieve a similar look. I realize that's not a sedan in the pic, but I think it looks incredible. Would I also have to get the Yaris lowered a little? What would I need to do that? Please forgive my ignorance, I have no idea what I'm talking about, so I figured I'd ask on a forum where other people obviously do!
Thanks!

hey skiprat, before get rims decide how much you want to lower it. No point get the rims you want and the when you lower the car it rubs on dips, bumps etc.
For rims here an idea of what you can put. This was taken from yarisworld.com another yaris site. Your offset should be between +38 & +45 If you want browse that site in the wheel & tires suspension section, so you can see what size rims will work when get lowered. Also the different setup some with diy to help with your decision. Lots of info just take time to look through as much as you can.

Rim width.

So I'm a bit in the same boat. I'm putting winter tires on my 2008 Yaris sedan and the common 15" rims are 6.5" wide as opposed to the stock ones on the Yaris that are 5.5" wide. Since the tire guys said 5.5" was an uncommon size that they don't normally stock I got the 6.5" but can return them if unmounted. I test fit one on the rear and it seems OK if perhaps a little tight. Anyhow, thoughts? Anyone running 6.5" winter steel? Should I just get 5.5" even if they are more expensive (probably $70 as opposed to $55)?

Oh and who the heck spec'd 13/16" as the lug nut size? Not metric and my impact socket set doesn't even have one.
