1. What exactly does using the TRD engine air filter on a Yaris do? also, if it lets through more air, won't the computer adjust the fuel intake for that, thus causing you to use more fuel?

2. What is the absolute best particulate and charcoal cabin air filter that money can buy? It does not necessarily have to be made for the Yaris as I can always cut it to size.

K&N recently came out with one. Approx $40.

I would'nt use K&N on any thing unless your are racing and expect to clean it often. just heard of a oilfield fleet of new dodge pickups with bluetec diesel engines. fleet of 13 trucks 8 of them have trashed their engines due to filters clogging then engine sucking hole in filter and the engine ate dirt. all had K&N filters

which trd filter? the cold air intake or the drop in replacement.....
