Canada Toyota Echo Radio 31807 CD Player MP3

Does anyone have any info on this stereo... It's silver if that helps and its in my 2004 echo.. Does anyone know who really makes it, and whats the page button for? If any one knows where I can find the manual for it that would be appreciated, it doesn't match up with whats in my car manual.

I have a 2005 Echo with this same stereo. I can tell you that the page button is useful when you are playing CDs with MP3 songs on them. The text information, or tags in MP3 terms, is displayed. It can show details such as the song name, artist, and music genre. If your MP3 songs do not have this information, it is easy to add it. Using Windows Explorer, right click on the MP3 file then select Properties, next click on the Summary tab and you can either see or edit the information about the song title; clicking on the Advanced button will allow you to see/change even more details.

Now, I too am looking for the manual for this stereo as my dealer did *not* provide it, much to my dismay. If I track it down I will let you know, and if you find it online please let me know.

Your dealer can't get the manual separately but they come with the radios (which are probably all sold out) but the Tech who installs the radios probably has 1 or 2 in his toolbox

Does anyone know if I can find one from, say the dealer or junkyard and if it is plug and play.

I have the non-CD player one and was hoping if I can just swap it out. I prefer not going aftermarket though.

Thanks

Hi

I have one of these radios that's working great, as I upgraded to a Sony stereo about 1.5 years ago. If you are interested in it, send me a private message. I live in Ontario and can offer it for a good price.

I had one too! But mine went into the trash. Never tried to play a CD... But they look horrid in my opinion.

Did you have any luck tracking one of these stereos locally?
