15" alloys for yaris

hey guys, i got a 2009 yaris with the stock 15" steel wheels that came with the convenience package. i believe they are these specs:
  • Wheels: 5.5JJ x 15 Steel Disc
  • Tires: P185/60R15 AS BSW
i also believe the stock 15" alloys that come with the S trim are the same exact size. heres a pic of the alloys im talking about:

http://z.about.com/d/cars/1/0/O/Y/to...is_s_wheel.jpg

if i just replace my existing 15" steels with those, what differences will i notice? how much do the 15" alloys weigh compared to the 15" steels? also, since they are the same size specs and everything, it shouldnt affect my odometer/speedometer readings or anything, right?

lastly, is there any place online where i can buya set of these? thanks!

im not sure about the new 15" alloys, but the 06-08 alloys weigh about 17.6lbs. 15" steelies weigh 15 or 16lbs per rim...but i think are 15x5 not 15x5.5

i dont think you'd notice much, if any difference between the two rims, except for the looks (though i dont recommend alloys for the winter, the finish gets wrecked after a couple years from salt, etc)

imo, youre better off getting some aftermarket 15" rims and slapping oem tires on them if you really want some alloy rims....itll be much cheaper than oem toyota stuff

yea ive noticed that OEM toyota stuff is pretty expensive...

now im actually thinking of these 17.5lb 15" aftermarket alloys by MSW. my biggest concern (but i dont know how concerned i should be with this) is that these aftermarket rims are heavier than my current 15" steels. if they are, im afraid ill get a noticeable decline in fuel economy. thats important to me becuase fuel economy is the main reason why i bought a yaris in the first place. hopefully my current steels are the 5.5 width and actually weigh closer to 17.5lbs than the 15/16lbs you suggested for the 5.0's. thanks for that info.

also, living in Massachusetts, im afraid the harsh winters might take a toll on the finish of my rims...but i guess thats unavoidable huh? maybe i should wait til i move out to Cali (heres hoping that i do)! haha
