rear disk brakes

How much do you think a rear axle from an EP82 Starlet should cost? A whole bolt-in deal, not just the ends.

Got my rear disk brake conversion completed. Paid $200 plus tax for the axle from JARCO and $60 to have the pads relined(not available in USA at that time). Had to custom bend the lines a little, other than that was a direct bolt in.

I may not be reading right, but you want to bolt a Starlet rear end into your Tercel? If so, thats pretty damn cool if you've got the skill/resources to pull it off.

Well, that would be pretty cool. Even better than the guy who bolted a Starlet front bumper onto a Tercel.
That's not what this guy's talking about though. Just the rear axle from a Starlet GT. The only real purpose of the swap is the addition of rear disc brakes.

Wedge is correct, it's a disk brake axle from a FWD Starlet, not a RWD. And it's in the Tercel already.
There is one more advantage though wedge, I understand the Starlet axle is narrower by an inch or 2, and that 7" rims don't rub.
