Canada 2002 Echo Leaky Trunk Fix

Hey guys, just thought i might help some of you with leaky trunks (unless i'm the only one?) But after a few attempts i finally found where the water was coming in from. I will try to explain this the best that i can since i don't have a picture...(if someone has a picture of a trunk and back window please post it and i will mark it)

At eh base of the window, on both sides, at the bottom edge of the curve, there's a shotty weld and paint job. If you look REALLY close you'll see the paint might be cracked a bit. And i do mean a TINY bit.. this is where the water is coming in.

To fix it all i did was clean the area Very well and applied a thin bead of Super Bonding Clear Silicone.

Problem solved.
