The audio response from the Audio Aux Jack does not seem adequate.
I am trying to connect my Sansa through the Audio input jack. I have to Rev up my volume to 100% on Sansa and around 80% on the Yaris to be able to hear anything. Is this normal??

SKG,

I have a 2007 Yaris and my AUX jack acts exactly like you describe. I have to boost volume to 30+ with my iPod at 100%. The sound quality is still good though. I am not sure why this is but I can at least let you know that you're not the only one that experiences this. I haven't given it much thought to being defective. Hopefully this helps out some. How do you like your Yaris?

Thank you for your response.
Yaris is a great car and the amount of features they have put in for the price is amazing.
As regarding the Audio response, I think that the AUX Audio Jack should be for external MP3 Players.
Has anyone been able to overcome this issue?
