How to reset 2000 Vitz Computer?

I want to reset the adaptive learning part of the CPU, just changed the O2 sensor and cleaned the MAF. Do I just remove the battery neg and pos cables for a certain amount of time?
Thanks.

Yes, you can do that or you can just pull the ECU fuse found under the hood I believe (if not there in the one by your knee).

I would let it sit for a good 10 minuteS?

Hi, do you just pull the fuse out with the battery still connected as normal? I tried it with the battery out, maybe I need to do it just with the battery connected as normal.
Also, there are 2 fuses that say ECU: ECU-IG and ECU-B .. guess I need to do both of them?

Thanks.

How long did you have the battery off? That should have done the trick and you wouldn't have needed to do the ecu fuse.

I had it off for maybe half an hour or so.
One of the trips still had the same millage so dont think it reset.
Anyway im leaving it off overnight right now and will see how it goes.
if that doesnt work then ill try pulling the fuses with the battery connected as normal.
thanks.

No, the trip meter doesn't reset unless you manually reset it-- has it's own memory and shouldn't be used as a sign that the ECU was reset.

Go ahead and leave it over night but I think you already did the trick. Tomarrow drive as you wish the computer to learn your habits.
