for all you echo owners, doesn't it bother you that there is no tach. or did you install an aftermarket one. cause that's the only thing I don't like about it. other than that I love it.
Albert from Brimell is prototyping one for the echo, so it might become a dealer add on. Its pretty nice, column mounted but fits nicely with the rest of the dash.
Wow, that's freaky!
I can't even imagine what that would be like.
No Tach... that's like, the most important gauge!
That's even more important than the speedo!
Seriously, it drove me crazy not having one, even with an auto. Swapped a Paseo cluster in, took care of that problem

so true, I hardly look at the speedo.
well, as long as there is a way to add a tach without it sticking out like a sore thumb, allthough it might be cool to have it mounted on top of the dash, right behind the steering wheel.
I just checked, the Echo sedan in the States has a Tach available as an option. I'm sure it would fit into the HB no problem. Except for one problem, then you'd have a speedo in mph.
It has 108 horsepower...weighing in at only 2080lbs. I tell you I have the 5-speed and it cooks. My last car was a Firefly with 55hp weighying in at 1875lbs...so I guess anything will cook.
