Do you have even the slightest idea of what's involved?
If lots of people in Japan are doing it, then it can't be all that difficult. I wonder how much physical compatibility Toyota built into the NZ, and ZZ engines...
sorry not alot of people in japan are doing it ... its a pretty hard swap ... And that is probably the only one ... It was done by a company in europe.

no. there are some that have done it in japan.
i know from seeing them in car boy or option mags.
dah well. i've searched the net, and no info. next thing to do is to buy one of the mags and try to decode it.
If I remember correctly, it involves relocating the battery to the trunk and fashioning all new engine mounts.
All in all, I think it's like shoehorning a watermelon into one's own ass. Hmm.. creepy analogy.
That car would cruise though.. especially once the lift kicks in. You'd be racing some guy and just as he starts fading in the upper RPMS, you'd be taking off. Nice.
I cant seem to see the pics. Could you try sending them to me or something.
So no one has anymore information on this swap.I did a search in yahoo but came up with nothing.
Early next year i want to start this project for rallying in the caribbean, but i needed to find out info on the fabricating of the engine mounts and gearbox and other matters with the engine fitting.can some one help me with info.
