hi ive a probleme with my daughters yaris 1999 a few months ago the lambda sensor came on we took it to the garage were they cleaned it out and said if it came on again we would have to change it after 3 weeks it came back on so we had it replaced last week we had the m.o.t. done and everything was fine but only about a month after having it replaced it came back on again does this meen its a faulty sensor or somthing more serious as it takes around 3 to 4 weeks to come back on. many thanks

Its the sensor found between the manifold and just infront of the cat

maybe you got a faulty sensor...what brand was it?

i only reccomend the use of oem sensors because the aftermarket ones tend to fail prematurly.

I've always thought the wires connected to the O2 sensor looked a bit flimsy,i'd check out those wires leading to the sensor.
