Bolt Broke In Crossmember!!!!!!!

Hey all

I have a 03 echo and i had to replace both front ball joints and stabilizer links, which involves replacing the entire lower control arm for the new ball joints (if anyone was wondering), and it jsut so happen that a bolt coming from the lower control arm bushing into the subframe broke, and is no stuck in the threaded side with no access to it at all! so i just got home from work screwing around with it, and ended up cutting the old lower control arm out however the last half in of the threaded bolt is in a blind hole.... therefore im just wondering if anyone had any ideas, and also if anyone new roughly the price of a new crossmember or subframe as some would call it might be? as toyota's parts department are not open at the moment...

thanks guys

Hope you you've settled your problem...

Did you try a local junker to see if you could transplant the part-- might be cheaper?

Wish I came across this thread earlier!

Take the bolt (or whatever's left of it) to your local Brafasco and tell them what you're using it for and they should be able to get you a perfect matching replacement.
